About Me

My name is Leo Ferreira, and I am passionate about creating art and photography that celebrates colour, medium, and perspective. I believe that we should never miss an opportunity to learn something new, as we never know when we may need those skills in life. I am motivated by the ups and downs of life and inspired by this quote by W. Churchill: "Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." Through hard work and dedication, I have had a great start with photography contests and created an art market for local artists to showcase their work. I am inspired by my travels and the people I meet, and I strive for balance in all aspects of my art and photography. This past summer, I won an international photo contest, People's Choice, Wildlife Photo of the Year, for my King's Table Photo taken while on Safari in Tanzania. I am ready to tackle 2024!
